Nguyen Van Ro
(Vietnamese, 1921-1997)

A professor at the Gia Dinh School of Fine Arts in southern Vietnam between 1955 and 1975, Nguyen Van Ro is one of the few great Vietnamese artists who decided to stay in their native country despite the tumultuous settings of war. He made the choice to teach his specialty, lacquer, and he trained artists such as Nguyen Van Minh (1930-2014).  If you have a painting or a lacquer panel of the Vietnamese artist Nguyen Van Ro, please contact us for a free evaluation, estimate and possibly for the sale of your work.
